Hoeve Boterberg
THE ABANDONED FARM IN BELGIUM
This abandoned farm ‘Hoeve Boterberg’ is also known as ‘Farm Tapioca’ in the urbex scene. I found this old house with animal sheds in a small village near Brussel, Belgium.
The old farm was abandoned when the last owner died in 2010. The family did not take care of the buildings, and today it is a ruin. The interior has not been touched for years, all the furniture is still there, slowly rotting. The house is almost a time capsule and gives a good view of the farmers’ life in the last century.
There are no future plans for the site. I visited ‘Hoeve Boterberg’ or‘Farm Tapioca’ in 2013 and 2022. Follow this link for more abandoned farms.
