Kostschool Heidi
THE ABANDONED SCHOOL IN BELGIUM
‘Kostschool Heidi’ is an abandoned boarding school in the Antwerpen area of Belgium. Eventually the derelict building was reconverted in 2009.
The kids have already left this boarding school for some years, but the Disney posters are still on the walls. Instead of the modern dvd’s and cd’s we found audio tape cassettes and slides that were used as movies in the school. Kostschool Heidi was abandoned in 1992. I took these photos during my visit in 2008. In 2009 the buildings got a new use. Follow this link for more abandoned boarding schools around Europe.
