Grand Moulins de Paris, Marquette-les-Lille (F)
Build in 1922
Abandoned in the 1980’s
Visited on 06 2006
This impressive giant factory was built in 1922 in neo-Flemish style. To bad weather and vandals haven’t been nice to this floor mill the past 15 years. Inside everything is trashed, most floors are collapsed and everywhere you see graffiti. At some places you can look up 5 levels without seeing one roof or floor, only the concrete structure is left.
The building has been classified as a monument some years ago, so hopefully it is saved from demolition. But with no action the building will demolish itself.
