This Eichhof is not really a hospital, it was a clinic where private treatment for alcoholic neuropathy took place. Alcoholic neuropathy is a disorder involving decreased nerve functioning caused by damage that results from excessive drinking of alcohol.

This private clinic was only for the more furtunated people. The afforested surroundings also gave some rest to the patients.
