In 1957 this hospital was built by Franciscan nuns. In 1979 the building was taken over by a bigger Catholic hospital who started an clinic for psychiatry and psychotherapy.

The nuns, who still owned the land sold it in 1998. In 2005 the hospital was abandoned when the clinic moved to another hospital.
