Most of the old steelworks of Allard-Giot were already demolished in the mid-80s. The left buildings are the administrative office and the old water tower.

The two old smokestacks remind us of the big industrial park that was. The steel foundry of Joseph Allard started in 1905 and went bankrupt in 1979. Now the site is heavy polluted.
